Legal Overrun
Privacy Policy
Overrun is a mobile game made by Zek Labs. This page explains what the game does with your data. The short version: it collects none. Your progress is saved on your device only, and nothing is sent to us.

Who we are
Overrun is developed and published by Zek Labs, a software studio in Malmö, Sweden. Zek Labs is responsible for any personal data handled through the game (the “data controller” in the words of the GDPR). Questions about this policy go to hello@zeklabs.se.
What the game does not do
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, sign-in or player profile.
- No collection. The game does not collect, store or share personal data, and it never sends data to Zek Labs.
- No third-party SDKs. The game contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social or tracking components.
- No identifiers. The game does not read your advertising ID or any other device identifier, and it uses no cookies or similar technologies.
- No sensitive permissions. The game never asks for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
Data stored on your device
Overrun keeps one save file in the game’s private storage on your device. It contains your game progress: levels cleared and stars earned, in-game currencies, unlocks and upgrades, your settings (such as sound and haptics), the dates the game was first installed and last played, and play statistics such as the number of sessions. The file exists only on your device, is protected by Android’s app sandbox, and is never transmitted anywhere.
You can erase it at any time with Reset Progress in the game’s Settings, or by uninstalling the game.
Permissions
Overrun declares two Android permissions:
- Vibrate, for haptic feedback on hits and rewards. You can turn haptics off in Settings.
- Internet, which the Unity game engine includes in the build. Overrun does not connect to any Zek Labs server and contains no third-party component that connects elsewhere, so this permission is not used to collect or send personal data.
Google Play
You install and update Overrun through Google Play, a service operated by Google. When you do, Google processes data about your device and your Google account under Google’s Privacy Policy. Google Play shows Zek Labs aggregated statistics about the game, such as install counts, ratings and crash rates. These figures are anonymous; we cannot identify you from them.
In-app purchases, if offered, are handled entirely by Google Play. Zek Labs never sees your payment details. Google gives us a purchase record (the product, the time and an order number) so that we can deliver what you bought and handle refunds.
Children
Overrun is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Because the game collects no personal data at all, nothing about a child is held on our side; a child’s game progress can be erased on the device as described above.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because Overrun does not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to act on, but you can always write to hello@zeklabs.se with questions.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to a data protection authority. In Sweden that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), imy.se.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Overrun starts using a service that processes personal data, for example an advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK, we will update this policy before that version is released, name the service, describe what it collects, and change the effective date at the top of this page. The current policy is always available at zeklabs.se/overrun/privacy/.
